As the only two of eight siblings to survive the Rwandan genocide, Francine and Immaculate have built a remarkable legacy. Today, they channel that resilience into meticulously growing and refining exceptional coffee, while also running a local school. The sisters are deeply committed to empowering their community, actively supporting local female farmers, and ensuring that every key position at their washing station is held by women.
While not officially certified organic, this coffee is entirely shade-grown without the use of artificial fertilizers or pesticides—making it organic by any practical definition.
